I have two tanks I'm cutting these out of, one with 0 DH water (very soft, Amazonian style water like for keeping discus) and the other with crushed coral substrate (very hard water, I keep my Tanganyikan cichlids in that tank). Because I'm cutting the snippets from two drastically different water types, regardless of what your water is like, some of these plants are going to love it there.
