Description

It is time to trim and here is an opportunity for you to pick up some new plants.  I’m not a dealer and only have a few aquariums.  My collection of plants is varied but quantities are smaller.  Look at this auction as a “plant sampler.”  It is an opportunity to try some new plants to see how they look in your aquarium and see which ones will grow for you.  I am even offering a few that are harder to find.   I use very clean practices with my aquariums.  All my plants were bleached when initially added to my aquariums or came from bleached setups.  This means no snails and no nasty hair algae.

Shipping is set at a flat rate of $9.00 for priority mail.

Here is what is included in this auction:

Hygrogyza Aristata – One, (two inch cutting) pictured.  Harder to find floater. This plant is not seen very often.  Has been a slower grower for me.

Ludwigia  arcuata x repens – Three (four inch cuttings) This is a beautiful deep red plant with larger leaves than regular ludwigia.

Echinodorus bleheri 'compacta' – One (four inch plant).  This is an Amazon sword plant variant of E. bleheri and is great for aquariums 29 gallons and under.  Very hardy and stays smaller.

Hygrophilastricta – One (two inch cutting with three sets of leaves).  . It will grow in moderate and low light aquariums.

Hygrophila  sp. ‘Tiger’ – Harder to find.  One (three inch cuttings).  Beautiful mottled leaf pattern. Another amazingly easy plant from South America that will thrive in most lighting.

Hygrophila sp. Bold (Harder to Find) one,  two inch cutting.  Pretty plant that shows best under high lighting. Slower growing.

Hygrophila sp. ‘Araguaia’ – One (Two inch cutting). Awesome creeping foreground/midground plant with a purple shade. (Harder to find) one, two inch cutting

heteranthera zosterifolia  (Star Grass) – Two (three inch cuttings).   Very easy emerald green plant.  This plant will flower if allowed to grow to the surface.

Najas Guadalupesnis – 6 by 3 inch bag

Ratola ( Four types)

Rotala Rontundifolia – four (3 inch) cuttings

Rotala Indica – five (3 inch) cuttings

Rotala Green narrow leaf - slower grower and stays smaller -  three (3 inch) cuttings

Rotala Vietnamese – three (3 inch cuttings)

Mayaca fluviatilis – four (5 inch) cuttings.

Hydrocotyle tripartite  - (Harder to find) One Small cutting with three nodes.  Cool plant sometimes listed as Hydrocotyle sp. "Japan"

Anubias nana – one  two inch cutting

Purple Bamboo – Poaceae sp 'Purple Bamboo' no it is not really bamboo but a neat looking plant.  Two cuttings, Used in Asian designs.

Water Sprite -  three plants

Limnophila aromatic-  Two (Three inch cuttings).  Easy plant with green leaves with a red underside.  Makes a nice effect in the current of the filter.

Extra – Will throw in some additional cuttings depending on what I have at the time.

Over 45 separate plants from 19 different varieties.  More pictures on request.
