Little PAPA Additions I am adding this auction to the list of PAPA auctions I run.  It's only for 2 plants but both are cool and super easy to add to any planted tank. They are very similar, but are different as well and I think somewhat compliment each other in the foreground of any tank. The first one is a Banana Plant. Nymphoides Aquatica is a cool little plant that has a base that looks like a bunch of bananas, hence the name.  Most of the nutrients are stored in those bananas.  The leaves are similar to little lily pads and in most cases will find their way up to the surface.  At first you won't see any roots on this plant, but after time, fine hairs will come out of the bottom and find their way in the substrate searching for nutrients and anchoring the plant.  This is a cool plant to add to your tank that will always get a look and a comment. The second plant I would like to talk to you about is the Dwarf Lily.  Nyphaea Rubra or Stellata is a really cool plant as well.  This plant has a hard bulb instead of bananas that shoots out this cute little lilly plant with dainty little leaves that tend to stay small at first and even short, but sometimes will also send a leave or two to the surface.  The leaves are more of the shape of an arrowhead than a round lily pad and can have a little color to them.  The cool thing about this plant is eventually the plant will want to fall off and possibly grow a bulb of it's own while the original bulb spits out another one.  Cool huh? So there you have it folks.  These are two cool little additions for your tank that are so EASY, all I do is drop them in.  I don't bury them at all and in fact I simply ignore them. So Since This is a PAPA Auction I will offer these just like I do the other ones and let you combine to save.
