Description

I would like to make a comeback

Over the years I have done a lot of work with fish clubs and societies.

I have been invited to be a vendor and a speaker at shows and I have truly loved those experiences.

But I can't always be there.  Some shows are too far for me to travel or simply won't fit into the schedule.

So I started offering other options.

Some clubs wanted nice plants at their auction and would send me a sellers sheet, just like they would give me if I was there in person.  I would fill it out, label the bags CORRECTLY, and ship them so they would arrive just before the auction.  There was NO NEED to unpack them, just put them on the tables as they would if I were there in person.  Then they would send me a check in the mail just like they would do for anyone else that showed up in person.  The difference was, I typically threw in a few donations as a thanks for allowing me to participate in their auction without actually being there.

The other service I provided the clubs was to simply come up with a budget they wanted to spend.  We would discuss their members, and with that information and my experience, I would come up with the right plants to send them.  Of course they were bagged and labeled slightly different and were sent to one of their representatives to prepare for their event.  Sometimes, I even sent extra empty bags to help them split them up.  Since the club paid up front for the plants, then they could do with them what ever they wanted to.  They could hold raffles or auctions and the money raised would go totally to the club.  I would provide them with a more detailed invoice, so they could even see which plants did well and which plants made them money.  And of course, I usually always found a way to throw in a couple extra donations.

The hardest part about doing that was the planning.  I just needed to know far enough in advance to make it happen.

The last service and a more popular one was "group buys".  I have a soft spot for clubs and what they do for the hobby.  So I somewhat treat them just like a LFS that I service.  Once the club is approved, I provide them with a "special list" much like a LFS would get.  The difference is, I am a little more lenient and allow them to cherry pick a little instead of forcing 12 of each.  The clubs may of course pass those savings on to their members, or try to raise money at an event.

So if you are a club representative or even a member that thinks your club might like to learn more about having nice plants for your events, send me an email and let's talk about it.

But what about this auction?

Well, obviously I just gave an open invitation to clubs that have not yet dealt with Baylees.

But what about what I can do for you?

Maybe you are a nutcase and have a lot of tanks you are considering planting and are looking for that CRAZY deal that won't cost you and arm and a leg.

Maybe you have a club auction or show coming up that you would like some nice plants to sell at.  Maybe the plants you have been getting are not as nice as they should be.  Maybe you have some local fish stores in your area that trust you and you need a little extra money these days.  Maybe you need some leverage to make trades with.

WHO KNOWS

Maybe none of the nonsense you just read means anything to you and you simply want a box FULL of plants.

$100 DEAL

I am going to send the person that buys this auction the most AMAZING box of plants they have ever seen.

There is no specific number of plants, size or shape, BUT if you think I am going to remotely give you any possible reason to leave me a negative feedback on this deal.

YOUR CRAZIER THAN THIS AUCTION!!

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you are not prepared to get plants that might stick out of the top of your tank or fill every tank you may have including your bathtub, then DO NOT BID.

I also want to talk to you.  If you are willing to drop $100 on plants, then I want to have a good idea of what you like and your setup and situation.

Plants of MY CHOICE

A SINGLE PLANT COULD BE WORTH $25

SHIPPING INCLUDED
