Pick A Plant Auctions

I am probably best known for putting together "custom" packages within your budget or package auctions of "my choice".  I still want to be known for that, but I would like to put the choice and creation in your hands.

The idea is very simple.

I am going to concentrate on groups of similar types of plants.  Tell you a little bit about each one in that group and let YOU DECIDE which ones you would like in YOUR PACKAGE!

NOT ONLY THAT

I am going to offer you the best quality plants at the best BOTTOM DOLLAR.

So check out my all my PAPA auctions and pick and choose as many as you like and take advantage of mixing and matching with one or multiple PAPA auctions.

How About Aponogetons!

Key points on Swords

These really don't have to acclimate because I usually send you a BULB!

Bulbs are cheaper and easier to ship.

Aponogetons GROW FAST

GROW HUGE

They LOVE BBB and even warm substrate

Bulbs take 1-2 weeks to sprout typically

Aponogeton leaves are funky

Aponogetons go into a rest period and they begin to grow again.....this means DON'T JACK WITH THEM, they didn't die just takin a nap.

I ship bulbs only for this main reason.  The leaves are brittle and delicate and will LOOK LIKE CRAP after being stuffed in a bag.  Sure I could offer crap that looked like this Ulvaceus in the picture but I would rather look like crap in that picture than that plant looking like crap when you get it. You Dig?

If you would like to read more on other plants I deal in please visit my website and click on plants, otherwise we may never get to what is for sale.

Enough TALK

Let's DEAL

This auction is for Aponogeton BULBS.  You pick 'em, I ship 'em.

The deal is simple.  I am going to show you the aponogetons I commonly deal with and tell you a little about each one.

Then it's your turn to decide which ones you would like to try.  You may order just one or as many as you want.  You may order all of the same or mix and match.  It is TOTALLY UP TO YOU.

Ok, so what's the price?

How about $3 a BULB plus shipping?  That sounds good to me how about you?

Ok so how much is shipping? Well, I have thought long and hard about this and I think everyone knows by now that I care about crap like that.  The cheapest I can ship is about $5 so how does that sound?

Ok so if you buy one BULB for $3 and add $5 for shipping, then that means you just spent $8 for a BULB.  Well, I have to be honest with you here.  I think that's crap.  $8 for one plant ins't a deal unless it is simply your only option.

So what if I told you that you could buy as many BULBS as you want and STILL ONLY PAY $5 shipping

That's the best bottom line deal I can offer you folks.

So let's look at your choices

Aponogeton Boivinianus

This thing has leaves that have more crinkles in them than Lotsoffish's forehead.  They are typically light green and even transparent.  The cool thing about this plant is if there is not enough nutrients to go around, it will just produce smaller leaves so the other plants won't get punked.  A great specimen plant that grows fast and slow down once it reaches about 16" or better.

Shipped as a bulb ONLY

Almost ALWAYS in stock.

Light:  Medium - Bright

Temp:  69--79 F (20-26 C)

pH:  6-8

Aponogeton Capuroni

This one is similar to boivinianus but more of a wavy leaf.  This one won't stand out as much as one either but several of them will create a nice look in your tank.

Shipped as a bulb ONLY

Almost ALWAYS in stock.

Light:  Medium - Bright

Temp:  68-77 F (20-25 C)

pH: 6-8

Aponogeton Longiplumulosus

This one can tend to be slightly lighter in color with that familiar wave, however the leaves are a little more narrow that the previous two and grows much taller.  A great plant to hang out in the back of a deep tank.

Shipped as a bulb ONLY

Almost ALWAYS in stock.

Light:  Medium - Bright

Temp:  69--79 F (20-26 C)

pH:  6-8

Aponogeton Madagascar Lace

This has to be one of nature's amazing creations.  The tissue of the leaves is MISSING creating a tennis racket looking leaf.  Only the veins in larger leaves while new leaves may appear solid.

Baylee's secret: This plant will NOT live in a discus tank even though it would look awesome.  This plant no matter what other idiots or books tell you needs to be in cooler water and low light or even SHADE.  Trust me and told tell my idiot competition.

Shipped as a bulb ONLY

Almost ALWAYS in stock.

Light:  Low to SHADE

Temp:  68-72 F (20-22 C)

pH:  6-8

I said NO!  When do you Discus people listen?

Keep your water CLEAN!!  That crap you let float around will clog this plant and kill it.  ONLY kill it if you promise to keep buying more.

Aponogeton Ulvaceus

This plant is a perfect example of why I only ship bulbs.  Those leaves are so stinking tender and brittle that you morons would be emailing me off the hook saying I sent you bad plants.  Besides, this thing will grow so fast you won't even remember I sent you a bulb.  This thing will throw lots of leaves and then shed them (another panicky email waiting to happen) before it grows again!  (emailed solved)  The brighter the light the more this thing grows.  This plant will look like it needs a shot of ferts because of the paleness, resist the temptation!

Shipped as a bulb ONLY

Almost ALWAYS in stock.

Light:  Medium - Bright

Temp:  72-82 F (22-38 C)

pH: 6-8

HIT OR MISS

I really don't want to offer you any more than these unless you wanted to beg and send me a tip.

But OCCASIONALLY I might bring in Crispus, Natans, Rigidifolius and Undulatus.

The plants listed on the left are probably available, it only takes and email to find out if you would really like them.

bayleespapa@aol.com

Please also note that this auction may not reflect current stock issues.  If any are not available, we will try to note it.  Please only email about stock on the hit or miss ones.  Otherwise please feel free to place your bid and email your choices with payment.  If there is a problem you will be notified to make another selection.

So there you have it folks.  Plenty of aponogetons for you to choose from at only $3 a BULB plus shipping.

Here's how to order!
