I'm tired of typing nonsense

There is one thing I have learned over the years.....Most people don't read.

I used to try to eliminate emails by answering FAQ in my auctions, but I still get morons asking me how much free shipping is.

SO

My paypal is bayleespapa@aol.com

Pay me ONLY what you bid

I ship within one week of auction close and that is USUALLY the only time I hold your hand with an email letting you know I shipped it and to be ready

If you don't like paypal, don't use paypal, or hate paypal, I take credit cards and postal money orders.

That should cover it, or read my Just Me page.

SO LET'S GET STARTED

Potted Plant Packages

I like potted plants for a few reasons.  For one, all my potted plants have nice labels in them with basic facts so I don't have to label them or try to figure out what I sent you.  I consider potted plants mature because they have roots and you can plant them right away.  I also push potted plants on breeders with bare bottom tanks because LIVE PLANTS belong in ALL aquariums and they can be left in the pots, or put in larger clay pots.

I always get asked how to deal with pots, so I am going to tell you.  First off, you can drop most pots right into your tank and most, especially the low light ones will do fine.  You get the benefit of plants without having to deal with substrate.  You can also remove the 2" plastic pot, and gently pull the rock wool away from the roots and plant them in larger clay pots you buy for 50 cents at your local lawn and garden place and add some nice substrate like Baylee's Better Bottom and STILL can keep your bare bottom tank.  You also can shove the pots directly into the substrate, but keep in mind, eventually the roots will find there way through the netting of the pot and probably limit the plant's potential, so I recommend, just removing the pot and rock wool and planting them directly in the substrate or for plants like anubias, tie them to a piece of wood or rock.  You don't have to worry about removing all the rock wool, in fact there may still be food in it to help the plants acclimate to your tanks.

I have a wide variety of potted plants, so hopefully you will be able to find a package that is best for you!  Just click on my other auctions and have fun.

Baylee's Anubias 12 Pack

I am so sick of talking about the benefits of Anubias that I almost don't want to tell you anything about them, but I will, one last time.

Anubias plants are the perfect plant because they can tolerate a wide range of temps, which means even discus people can have them without them melting.  Anubias leaves are THICK and hardy which means they can withstand most fish trying to nibble on them.  Anubias come in all shapes and sizes, which means I can substitute them for certain plants people have no business messing with.

But the most interesting fact about Anubias is how they grow.  They are not like other plants.  They have what is called a stolon, (look that up because most people call it a rhizome).  There is a difference, but I am not taking the time to explain it to you and most of you probably could care less.  This stolon, which is the thick part at the base of the plant that the leaves grow up from and the roots grow down from should NEVER be buried under the substrate.  In fact, these plants were designed in nature to grow on rocky banks.  In other words, they prefer to be tied to hard surfaces such as rocks or driftwood.  So all of you that kill anubias, I wonder if you didn't know this.  Now you know, so stop doing it, unless you promise to continue to buy more from me.

Anubias mostly grows horizontally along the stolon and will continue to grow as long as you let them and will even creep up the side of your tank.  However, you can break the stolon, which is how you divide them and spread them around.  But don't get overly excited about the creeping thing I just told you because they are very slow growers.  That is why Anubias is so expensive, especially the big ones.  Now, because they grow slow, they are more likely to get algae on the leaves.  You can let it go, because the leaves don't care, and your fish can eat it.  You can gently rub the leaf between your thumb and finger to remove it, or you can even do a bleach dip.

The last thing to know about Anubias is they like a lot of iron in their diet.  Most people are lucky enough to have enough iron in their water or substate, those people are the losers that are extremely successful with them, that you just want to poke thier eyes out because they just drop them in and they grow.  But for those of you that may not be that lucky, their is a way to tell if you lack iron.  Most Anubias have dark green leaves (dark green means low light).  New leaves can be light green, so pay no attention to those.  But if the adult leaves start to fade and even turn yellow, then you don't have enough iron.  All plants talk, if you listen.  In fact just about any plant that turns yellow is asking for a shot of iron, so go get a 4oz. bottle of Seachems Iron and dose the tank.

You are bidding on 12 potted plants of the various examples above.  I may send you 2 of each, or I may send you a similar type plant not even pictured. You will get 12, and you will bet the best quality and variety I have when I pack your box.

All my plants will be professionally packed and labeled so you can learn about them and create the perfect planted tank.

If you are not satisfied, I fix it, plain and simple.

Why Bid on Baylees?

It's simple really.  I bring in the BEST plants from the BEST nursery in the country.  This means the plants are at the FRESHEST, HEALTHIEST stage.

I don't mess around selling one plant, and charging you twice the price to ship it to you, or expect you to buy extras to get free shipping.

Lastly, I have been doing this for years and I HAVE SET THE STANDARD that others try to copy, but still don't come close.  READ my feedbacks or ask around, and you will soon find out......
