Plant Package: Lots o' Floating Plants

Today, I looked in my goldfish pond, and my jaw nearly dropped off my face. A few months ago I threw three little pieces of frogbit in there just for the heck of it. Now there are like 50 plants floating around all innocently and they're everywhere! And so are many of my other floating plants. So, here's a floating plant assortment auction for you all.

I'm offering the following package to start with, starting at one dollar with no reserve, but if this auction goes over $20 (which it's easily worth), I'll start throwing in EXTRAS (new and duplicate species, maybe even some stems) to make it worth your money and then some. I have tons of plants to offer, so don't fear bidding it up high to get more plants than anyone reasonably knows what to do with :) If it goes over $30, I'll even ship for free. For the sake of full disclosure, it's possible you'll get some hitchhiker snails and/or duckweed.

If the auction stays under $30, shipping will be a flat $10 via USPS Priority mail to anywhere in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico). No international buyers, please. Live arrival guaranteed if you don't let the box cook out in the hot sun all day. In case of significant DOAs (I do put in extras just in case a few pieces melt), email me photos the same day the plants arrive and I'll do a resend on my dime or partial refund if I don't have the extras. If you're worried about my limited feedback, check out my profiles on PlantedTank.Net and AquaticPlantCentral.com - I've had plenty of happy buyers for my plants.

Please paypal the winning bid to wengera@sacredheart.edu by the Sunday evening following the auction if you would like me to ship it the following Monday. I like to ship on Mondays so that the plants don't get stuck in the mail over a weekend and so I only have to make 1 trip to the post office, but if you desperately need me to make arrangements to ship a different day, email me and we can work something out.

So, to start, here's the plants I guarantee you'll be getting (with some photos below)

15 plantlets of Amazon Frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum)

1 portion (snack baggie sized) of Guppy Grass (Najas guadalupensis)

3+ stems Brazilian Pennywort (Hydrocotyle leucocephala)

1 small plant Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thallictroides)

1 portion (8oz glass size) mixed duckweed (Lemna major, Lemna minor, etc.)

1 portion (ping-pong ball sized) Riccia fluitans

+ a bonus 15 stem bunch of Ludwigia palustris
(Just because I like to throw this species into packages. It's a stem, though, not a floater.)

That's 8+ SPECIES of plants, and enough to start a floating cover for a tank of almost any size.
