I'm tired of typing nonsense

There is one thing I have learned over the years.....Most people don't read.

I used to try to eliminate emails by answering FAQ in my auctions, but I still get morons asking me how much free shipping is.

SO

My paypal is bayleespapa@aol.com

Pay me ONLY what you bid

I ship within one week of auction close and that is USUALLY the only time I hold your hand with an email letting you know I shipped it and to be ready

If you don't like paypal, don't use paypal, or hate paypal, I take credit cards and postal money orders.

That should cover it, or read my Just Me page.

SO LET'S GET STARTED

Potted Plant Packages

I like potted plants for a few reasons.  For one, all my potted plants have nice labels in them with basic facts so I don't have to label them or try to figure out what I sent you.  I consider potted plants mature because they have roots and you can plant them right away.  I also push potted plants on breeders with bare bottom tanks because LIVE PLANTS belong in ALL aquariums and they can be left in the pots, or put in larger clay pots.

I always get asked how to deal with pots, so I am going to tell you.  First off, you can drop most pots right into your tank and most, especially the low light ones will do fine.  You get the benefit of plants without having to deal with substrate.  You can also remove the 2" plastic pot, and gently pull the rock wool away from the roots and plant them in larger clay pots you buy for 50 cents at your local lawn and garden place and add some nice substrate like Baylee's Better Bottom and STILL can keep your bare bottom tank.  You also can shove the pots directly into the substrate, but keep in mind, eventually the roots will find there way through the netting of the pot and probably limit the plant's potential, so I recommend, just removing the pot and rock wool and planting them directly in the substrate or for plants like anubias, tie them to a piece of wood or rock.  You don't have to worry about removing all the rock wool, in fact there may still be food in it to help the plants acclimate to your tanks.

I have a wide variety of potted plants, so hopefully you will be able to find a package that is best for you!  Just click on my other auctions and have fun.

Baylee's Swords 12 Pack

Did you know that there are over 45 species of swords found in nature?  Heck there are even some man made swords now.  Most of them come from South America and I don't think there is a single sword that grows submerged in nature.

However, they have to be able to survive both wet and dry seasons, which means they can be trained, and that is exactly what we as hobbyists have to do.

Since all swords grow immersed in nature, and you can bet the growers do it the same way because they grow faster and stronger which is a big plus in the commercial industry, you will tend to have your swords go through an acclimation process.  You can always tell an immersed sword because if you hold it out of the water, it stands straight up.  When you submerge swords, those leaves will die off and new leaves will grow that are much softer and more supple.  Typically they will look exactly the same, they will just flop over if you pulled them out.  So when you see this happen, just pinch off the dead leaves so you don't get crud in your tank and watch them grow!

Swords also love to shoot off babies.  Eventually, your sword will shoot out a runner and that runner will be filled with babies.  In nature, these runners will shoot out and float on the surface until they get too heavy or the dry season comes.  When the babies reach the bottom, they take root and this is how they spread.  In an aquarium, you can let the runners float until the babies are about 3-4" tall and have about the same length roots.  Then you can cut the runner one either side of the baby and plant them, give them to your friends, or sell them at your club auction.

The last thing you need to know about swords is they grow tall and they like to eat.  Except for Pygmy type swords, the smallest still grows about 14"  tall and most grow over 18". So they are perfect for larger tanks and backgrounds.  They also make nice decorations in outdoor tubs if you need to convince your wife to have some tub on the back porch.  Just stick a sword in it, let it grow out of the water and tell her it's a water garden.  I also said they like to eat.  Swords like a nutrient rich substrate like the crap I sell.  Swords grow awesome in BBB without needing much extra, but if you have simple pea gravel in your tanks, you may want to consider some form of fertilization.  Personally, I would rather use gravel than chemicals.

I deal with MANY different potted swords.  These are examples of what I might send based on availability.

You are bidding on 12 potted plants of the various examples above.  I may send you 2 of each, or I may send you a similar type plant not even pictured. You will get 12, and you will bet the best quality and variety I have when I pack your box.

All my plants will be professionally packed and labeled so you can learn about them and create the perfect planted tank.

If you are not satisfied, I fix it, plain and simple.

Why Bid on Baylees?

It's simple really.  I bring in the BEST plants from the BEST nursery in the country.  This means the plants are at the FRESHEST, HEALTHIEST stage.

You can't beat my prices, because I have none.  I start these amazing packages out at $1.00 with no reserve and NO LAME FEES.  You simply pay what you bid, and DON'T worry about shipping, because IT'S INCLUDED!!

I don't mess around selling one plant, and charging you twice the price to ship it to you, or expect you to buy extras to get free shipping.

Lastly, I have been doing this for years and I HAVE SET THE STANDARD that others try to copy, but still don't come close.  READ my feedbacks or ask around, and you will soon find out......

NOBODY BEATS MY DEALS!
