I love�LED�lights since they're so much more efficent at producing light. I left mine running for hours and it's still cool to the touch!
Other CFL waste your electricity producing heat rather than light. LEDs are slightly more expensive, but they're actually cheaper in the long run.

I use two of these on my PLANTED TANK, and the plants a thriving! CO2 + Good Light = secret recipe for plant growth!
I'm setting up a few tanks with this. The 12 gallon Ultra long (35x9x9) and the 20 gallon long (30x12x12). Note that the 20 Gallon has only 1 Light. I'll probably add one more once I have more plants.
