Description

This auction is for a group of 5 cichlid fry hatched 7/25/2018. This species is the only native cichlid to the united states. This is a full size cichlid growing up to 10 inches in length. These cichlids are eating crushed cichlid flake food, micro organisms found in hair algae, mosquito larvae, and shrimp pellets. Tank size: it is recommended to have at least 55 gallons for 1 pair at 3/4 to full size. Currently these fish are about 1/2 inch each and growing quickly. Water parameters: this is a hardy fish. Native to north and central America this fish does well in hard alkaline water my water runs 7.8 to 8.2 alkalinity of 150ppm, and Tds of over 400. Of course these fish will do well in less hard water. I have hundreds of these fry so you can request as many as you like. I am asking 3.00 each additional fish. This is half price of what I will be offering them for once they reach 1.5 inches. This auction has shipping included. Live arrival guarantee. Refund of fish value only at 3.00 per fish.
