I like to ship when daytime temps are 40 degrees or above. I don't ship when temps are single digits. I reserve the right to delay shipping. My fishes' welfare is my first priority. Up for auction are 12 wild caught Leptolucania ommata, sometimes referred to as Pygmy Killifish. These are a small, diminutive killifish found in quiet still water. They do best in smaller tanks, with no competition for food. They do great with Pygmy Sunfish. They don't like strong currents and will appreciate a well planted tank. These are just approaching adult size and the males are starting to show their colors. The picture below shows a grown male at his full potential. They do best on live foods, I am feeding these live newly hatched brine shrimp. While they will eat finely crushed flakes,,they will not thrive on prepared foods. Do not buy these if you cannot provide small live foods. These fish are healthy, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
