****PLEASE READ THIS***** I am planning on shipping these fish next Monday or Tuesday, weather permitting in your area. I like to ship when daytime temps are 40 degrees or above. I don't ship when temps are single digits or in the teens. I reserve the right to delay shipping. My fishes' welfare is my first priority.

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail. No exceptions. Shipping is $12. I AM NOT COMBINING THIS AUCTION WITH OTHERS FOR SHIPPING. Please read my Just Me page and pay attention to my terms. Thank you.

Up for auction are 6 adult pygmy sunfish, Elassoma okefenokee. These are wild caught adults. You will have both sexes in your group. I will only have a limited supply of these for now.

The PICTURE BELOW shows comparable fish to what you will receive. The top picture shows normal coloration for females and males when not sexually active when in a proper environment. The bottom picture shows a male in breeding color, something they do most of the time if fed properly and given adequate tank conditions.

I am keeping these in mostly RO water with a fraction of hard tap water. I am feeding these live newly hatched brine shrimp. Please do not buy these if you are not well versed in live foods.

Pygmy Sunfish do best in small tanks by themselves. Low water current and plants and a fine substrate suit them. Do not buy these and dump them in an open community tank. They don't do well if they have to compete for food. PLEASE do not order these unless you are well versed in providing small live foods.

These fish are healthy, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
