Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, no exceptions. Please read entire auction before bidding. Shipping is FREE. Up for auction are four juvenile sleeper gobies, Dormitator maculatus. These are small juvies just over an inch or so in length. They are CUTE, rambunctious, and eating great. In case you're not familiar with these fish, they make great pets who grow to be very bold, not shy at all, will practically eat from your fingers, and will grow out to 5-6 inches or more. They make GREAT PETS. The picture shows an adult that I previously auctioned off, I became very attached to this fish, he was very tame and like all sleepers, adjusted to tank life like a champ. Note the beautiful red eye. I am feeding these small sleepers live newly hatched brine shrimp, once they are acclimated to your tank they will recognize feeding time and anything that fits into their mouths will be eaten. They prefer a sandy bottom with live plants, but once acclimated will tolerate most tank conditions. These fish were collected in pure fresh water with no access to salt water. While it's true that Dormitator maculatus can be found in brackish and salt estuaries, these fish were not. There is no reason to add salt to these fishes' tank. The fish are healthy, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
