These are wonderful active little killifish from Florida. They are a wonderful, active, schooling fish that do best in planted tanks. I offer larger groups than most people because I have learned they are much less skittish and eat better in larger groups. Mine eat as soon as they are brought in from the wild and I start them on live baby brine shrimp and soon they eat small bits of frozen foods as well. While they will eat dried foods, Bluefin killies need live and frozen foods, fed often, to thrive. If you have never hatched brine shrimp and want to learn an easy method, visit my little site that shows you how. A perfect method for beginners. www.hatchingbrineshrimp.weebly.com These are an easy Killifish to breed, once they are acclimated and happy, they will start scattering small clumps of clear eggs throughout the plants and you will start seeing small babies in the plants. The eggs and fry of Bluefin killifish are amazingly rugged, and hard to kill. These fish are wonderful outdoor tub and pool occupants and will show off their colors in the sunshine. They will breed freely among the plants and at the end of the season you can bring in your own home grown Blue Fin Killies. You can either take them to your local fish store or sell them here on Aquabid! These fish are healthy, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
