Please read entire auction before bidding. Shipping is $13 on top of whatever the auction closes at. Shipping includes a styro lined box with a 72 hour heat pack if necessary. You can combine auctions to save on shipping. Up for auction are six young unsexed spotted Golden Ear Killies, Fundulus chrysotus, similar to fish pictured. This particular group was collected in a place where the adult size fish become spectacular in color. These fish develop spots very early on and the black increases with age. The male will show remarkable red color as he gets older. Golden Ear Killies are a remarkably bullet proof native fish, they will eat anything once acclimated to your tank. These fish are eating live baby brine shrimp and live blackworms. They can easily be converted to prepared foods once settled in but will do better if offered live foods with some regularity. These are a very easy fish to breed, they will spawn in plants or you can use a mop to gather eggs. The young are very tough and will grow rapidly. These fish are healthy, colorful, eating, and thriving. It will be up to YOU to provide them with conditions to guarantee that they continue to do so.
