Please read entire auction before bidding. Free Shipping. Up for auction are 20 Least Killifish, Heterandria formosa. These are not killifish, but small cute livebearing fish found in most Florida waterways.

These little fish do not drop large numbers of fry at one time, they drop just a few live young daily for a week or two, then take a break and start again. If you have plants and hiding places the young will survive and grow out in the keeping tank. The adults generally do not molest the young as long as there are plants and they are being fed well.

These small fish do great in a tiny tank or a huge tank, it's up to you. They can be used as dither fish to bring shy fish out into the open, I use them as target fish for small dwarf cichlids, keeping the cichlids from being aggressive to each other.

I am available to answer any questions about these fish or this auction, do not bid if you are unsure about anything. Please do your research. Thank you.
