Please read entire auction before bidding. Free Shipping. Up for auction are four Pygmy Sunfish, the best guess is Elassoma okefenokee. The fish pictured are representative of the fish you will be receiving. You will have both sexes in the four fish you receive. These fish are best kept by experienced aquarists. They must have small live foods to thrive and if you are not well versed in producing live foods then you should pass on this auction. They do well in small, species only tanks, they like plants and the males will make a small territory out of any clump of plants or rocks on the bottom. If you provide these fish with the conditions they like,,clean water, plants and cover,,,and live foods,,the males will stake out a territory and color up nicely, and the females will freely breed with the males. If there is enough cover in the tank some fry will survive. These fish are currently being kept in hard water, being fed live baby brine shrimp, small live blackworms, and the occasional dose of mosquito larvae. They have been in captivity for several months. I am available to answer any questions about these fish or this auction, do not bid if you are unsure about anything. Please do your research. Thank you.
