Description

I would consider Acantharchus pomotis to be an extremely rare native fish, elusive & rarely found in large numbers. Max size 8". These delightful little "freshwater groupers" have adptated perfectly to their ecological niche. Very little oxygen requirements means this fish can survive where most other predators perish. I would describe these little guys as entriuging & enchanting. Stalking and eating wonderfully on feeder guppies and grass shrimp, or purchase my guppy/shrimp feeder combo. They will also eat crickets and moths attracted to your porch light. Their antics will entertain you more than any cichlid, very enjoyable & amazing to watch. $20 shipping.
