Description

This is a great kit for anyone interested in starting their first native tank or even for an advanced native keeper. All of these fish came from the same slow moving stream. This auction is for 3 species. The first 2 large trios of Heterandria formosa, the least killifish. This is the smallest fish in the United States and is a neat Livebearer. The males get 3/4 of an inch long and the females max out at a tad over an inch. The neat thing about these fish is instead of dropping 40 fry at once, the females will drop 2 or 3 each day for a 14 to 17 day period. You will also get 2 nice wild pair of Lucania goodei, the bluefin killifish. The goodei is a small peaceful killifish that are egg layers. They will lay eggs in plants. They can get up to a tad over 2 inches long. These fish are in breeding color right now. The last item in this kit is one pair of Everglades pygmy sunfish. This fish is an egg layer that like to spawn in caves or bunch plants at the bottom of your aquarium. All of these fish were collected in the wild and are eating great. To get the sunfish to thrive, you will need to feed them live foods. Shipping is in USA only. Priority shipping/supplies will run $16. I will only ship when your overnight lows are above 35 degrees.
