Description

ADULT SNAILS, OVERNIGHT SHIPPING (Approx. $60) Heat Pack = $3 80+ Bladder snails for your aquarium or as food animals. Mixed sizes. Several individual plants included in the package. Snails are wild-caight. Shipping is $16 flat rate. USPS Priority. Live arrival is guaranteed. If the package is late and the contents compromised, you must document well so that I can file a USPS claim for a refund that I will forward to you after the insurance claim is honored. Please message with any questions about the item, including any q's about bundling with other items to save on shipping. These are almost entirely wild-caught snails with less than 25% of the contents hatched in captivity. There are naturally occurring parasitic nematodes in the systems from which the snails are collected. I feed the snails to my wild-caught golden topminnows who have never shown symptoms of nematodal infection and 2 necropsies with dissection scope have been negative for intramuscular or intestinal parasites. That being said, non-sympatric fish populations may lack such resistance. In other words, I cannot guarantee that my snails are free of parasites. I would sooner guarantee that they do have parasites. I would make a similar guarantee for just about any, even captive-bred stock because of how evolutionarily entrenched snail endoparasites and their hosts are in nature. In summation, I would not feed these snails to rare or expensive fish unless you have medication handy and can keep a close eye on them.
