Description

Add some cute pops of color in you planted tank with COLORFUL RAMSHORNS! This listing includes a mix of colorful Ramshorn snails for cute color and cleanup in your new tank. You will receive at least ten JUVENILES in various shades of pink, red, blue, brown, or salmon, silvery, and gold. Adults are pictured. I want to add this again: This listing is for the JUVENILE OFFSPRING, from the adults pictured. The ones you receive will be small, and not fully grown. Ramshorns are chill dudes who do not eat plants nor will they bother shrimp or other tank-mates. They mostly chug around eating detritus and algae, and will scrub your plants of dead matter and other algae growing on the surface. Ramshorns, like most snails, do not need any sort of dedicated food source. They are most pleased doing what they do naturally, hanging out on plants, surfaces, and substrate cleaning up after other tank mates. If you overfeed, the snails will believe more of a cleanup crew are needed, and will quickly solve that problem by reproducing. These work fabulously in community tanks without aggressive tank-mates. Loaches, Chiclids, Puffers and the like will quickly attack and decimate your new snails. When you receive these, you'll notice they will be curled up tightly pretty far up inside their shells. This is normal! They have retreated to conserve their metabolism and moisture during shipping. Just pop them right into your tank, and they will emerge within a day or so at most. Shells that are see through, and completely empty are unfortunately dead. Fortunately, I always include a couple extras in case of an DOA's. Check out my other listings for more cool aquarium stuff! These are homebred here in the US (Kansas) and are not farmed nor imported. I take a lot of pride in this hobby. I'm very careful, and I use methods that have consistently gotten the best results over years. Lot of love going into this hobby. Please don't leave them to roast or freeze in a mailbox🙏 DUE TO COVID AND HEAT, USPS delivery estimates have rather dilated. Re: your feedback, we will be shipping once a week on Mondays to give your order the best chance of making to you before the weekend :) Please be sure your address is correct! Thank you for looking, aqua friends!
