This auction is for "3" Dwarf Golden Sulawesi Rabbit Snails. These are about 1/2"
The Dwarf Golden Sulawesi Rabbit Snail possesses a golden or yellow body. This snail is the same width, but less than half the length of its larger relatives. Its shell is stubby and spiral-shaped. This snail seems curious by nature, and each snail uses its elongated, muscular "foot" to pull and hop itself around on the glass and aquarium decor. This is a very striking snail and is sure to impress viewers, almost all of which will have never seen one before.
The Dwarf Golden Sulawesi Rabbit Snail is an excellent option for aquariums that might be too small of many of the larger rabbit snail species. It is a decent algae-eater, but it also feeds on leftover food of almost any sort. While most aquatic plants are safe from this snail, it is possible (though not common) that it might eat some very soft-leaf plants. I feed these canned French cut green beans, algae wafers, Spirulina flake food, & blanched vegetables.
Sulawesi snails are completely peaceful, and therefore safe to keep with any fish, shrimp, and most plants. These are freshwater snails and their adaptable nature makes them suitable for just about any freshwater aquarium. However, these snails come from a tropical climate, so aquariums with high temperatures are required for them to thrive.
SHIPING IS $10
MY LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTY & DOA POLICY:
Two clear photos of the DOA livestock in unopened shipping bag are required. These images must be received within ONE hour of package delivery.
Snails are not guaranteed past arrival. Opening the shipping bags ends the 'arrival' period and, without photographs, indicates that the snail is acceptable in the condition they arrived.
