Description

20+ red ramshorn snails. Great addition to your clean up crew for any freshwater tank. They eat dead or decaying plant matter (but not live plants!), soft algae, uneaten food, and fallen tank mates. Dead fish or shrimp should still be removed to avoid ammonia spikes though. Can withstand a wide variety of water parameters, extremely hardy. Also a good indicator of water quality, as you will see them in mass coming to the surface if your parameters are out of whack. Even just one snail will reproduce as they are hermaphroditic. Will ship to continental 48. Sizes will be assorted. Juvenile or younger/smaller snails acclimate to new tank conditions the best. Shipping is $12, paid by buyer. I ship in an insulation filled box, in a 3/4 water filled jar. Depending on temperature, and temperature of location being shipped to, will include 72 hour heat pack. Ships via USPS Priority. Will include extras in the event of d.o.a.'s. Keep an eye on tracking and your weather conditions to ensure they're not sitting in a hot or cold mail box all day long!
