3 Tank Raised - Tylomelania - Small Yellow Rabbit Snail Babies. I will send 1 extra in case of DOA.

These babies come from my aquarium of 50 wild caught adults. Most adults are shades of yellow but there are also a few pretty light brown and even a couple that are a very rare white coloration. This population is very genetically diverse so if you are looking for a breeding population, this auction would be an excellent starting place.

Payment must be by paypal only. Please pay by Friday evening as I ship on Saturdays (The snails will typically arrive Monday or Tuesday. Shipping is $15 priority mail and includes styrofoam box, insulation, cold pack and tracking number. Shipping is non-refundable. I will ship ONLY within the continental United States (excluding Maine)

In the rare event of DOA, you must contact me within 2 hours of delivery. I will refund the cost of any DOA snails divided by the winning bid price and excluding the freebies (So if the auction is for 3 rabbits and I send 4, 1 is free so if 1 dies, no refund would be given). IF you know it is hot or cold where you are, please allow the snails to be held at your post office or delivered to your work. I am not responsible if you select delivery and then leave them outside in extreme temperatures!

These are very easy to care for. I suggest people keep them in a plastic fish breeder box with lid (they will crawl out) for a couple months to protect them from aggressive fish and so that they can be observed to make sure they are getting enough food and calcium. Add a piece of cuttlebone and they can be fed snello (how to make snello), frozen thawed green beans, zucchini, algae/veggie fishfood without copper etc. They can eat plants but usually don't if well fed. These neat snails will not overrun your aquarium. Yellow rabbit snail females bear one baby each month. They are male and female and only reproduce sexually and don't "switch genders". For this reason, it's important to get at least 6 to get both genders since they cannot be visually sexed.
