Gold and Ivory Mystery snails

This listing is for ONE pea-sized snail (gold or ivory, your choice) with more available at the winning bid.

Unlike their plant-eating apple snail cousins, these Pomacea diffusa~~aka Mystery Snails~~are perfectly plant safe. Similar to other freshwater snails, they eat leftover food, algae, and dead or dying plant matter. Unlike common aquarium snails, these snails need to be target-fed at least a few times a week with fresh veggies, algae wafers, and similar items. These snails will not breed out of control like other aquarium snails, they are sexual so need to have a male and a female for breeding. In addition, they lay their eggs above the water line in a large clutch, which is easy to remove.

Priority shipping is based on your zip code for a 2# package. A heat pack ($2 extra) will be added if you need one. At the end of the listing I will check the forecast for your area (to see if you need heat), calculate shipping costs, then send you an invoice through Paypal.
