Please read entire auction and updated Just Me before bidding.

Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR).

15 + 5 Leopards Ramshorns

You are buying 15, I am shipping 20. All photos below are recent and are the group your snails will be chosen from. These vary from having a lot of dark spots to lighter, fewer spots and I will make sure you get at least one of my new favorite with no spots ( click for pic). They range from small to large pea sized (~0.25" - 0.30"+). 1st is w/o flash, the 2nd & 3rd are w/flash.

What never shows up well in pictures is how the air bubble they carry trapped in their shell looks when the light hits it. Photos don't see in stereo like our eyes do and you don't get the sparkle effect that you do when you view them in the tank. I tried though, you can kind of see what I mean below. It looks the best on the ones with no spots.

The snails you will receive are young and very healthy. At this size they are easy to handle, easy to ship, acclimate easily and most of all aren't about to die of old age. You won't be getting big snails which are at the end of their reproductive lifespan. That's what those large ones are, OLD.

The winner will receive a comprehensive care sheet which can be downloaded and printed if desired. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.

Term details are on my Just Me page which was updated January 18th 2013. Read it before bidding.

Payment is through PayPal only (you do not need an account, just a credit card), no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address. If you want shipping to an Unconfirmed address, email before bidding/buying to discuss this.

Shipping is postage for 2 pounds from 01888, $5.32 to $9.97. You can check that cost yourself at usps.com, it will be much faster than asking me for a quote, use the online price, not the post office price. I ship to PO Boxes if it's Confirmed Address.

This will be shipped in an insulated box with a generous amount of water but without a heatpack. The insulation and large volume of water will greatly slow temperature changes and should be sufficient protection against brief exposure to temperatures in the 20s. It is not enough for really cold destinations so no shipping to locations with lows of 20F and below, no exceptions, no negotiation, no bitching & whining. Shipping will be delayed when local (the airport) low temps are 20F or below, again, no exceptions, no negotiation, no bitching & whining. Don't like the terms? Don't bid.

Shipping will be delayed if extreme weather may endanger the snails, ...it's a hobby not an organ transplant!

LAG for 15 snails for 3 days if >25F and <85F.

Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
