Large BLUE Mystery snails--Only 50 cents each! I have available several large BLUE mystery snails. These are not adult snails but are reaching breeder size. I have an over-abundance of blue snails and have reduced the price to move them quickly! If interested in other colors, please see my other listings. Unlike their plant-eating apple snail cousins, these Pomacea diffusa~~aka Mystery Snails~~are perfectly plant safe. Similar to other freshwater snails, they eat leftover food, algae, and dead or dying plant matter. Unlike common aquarium snails, these snails need to be target-fed at least a few times a week with fresh veggies, algae wafers, and similar items. These snails will not breed out of control like other aquarium snails, they are sexual so need to have a male and a female for breeding. In addition, they lay their eggs above the water line in a large clutch, which is easy to remove. Priority shipping (Monday to Wednesday ONLY) is based on your zip code for a 2# package. A heat pack ($2 extra) will be added if you need one. At the end of the listing I will check the forecast for your area (to see if you need heat), calculate shipping costs, then send you an invoice through Paypal. Any questions, please ask before bidding and Thanks for looking!
