Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR). � Pink Pearl Ramshorns You are buying 12, I am shipping 15. Your snails will be small to medium pea sized and growing fast. The color of ALL pink ramshorns comes from the hemoglobin in their blood, there is no pigment. If you want them to be pastel like the first picture, keep them in cool well oxygenated water. It you want them to be a bright pink like the second picture, keep them in warmer water and/or with low circulation (less dissolved O2). Both photos show genetically identical snails. These will breed as true as is possible. � � Shell condition will be good to very good. There may be some variation in the shade of pink as I will probably be selecting snails out of more than one tank and they aren't all the same temperature. Most will be old enough to breed. At this size they are easy to handle, easy to ship, acclimate easily and most of all aren't about to die of old age. You won't be getting big snails which are at the end of their reproductive lifespan. That's what those x-large ones are, OLD. These are true albinos, the body color is from the snails' iron rich blood (hemoglobin, red, same as us). As these get older the shell will thicken and the color will lighten. The very biggest oldest snails will have a mostly ivory color shell with a hint of pink showing through and a brighter foot. IMPORTANT: If you ever see ramshorns with white or yellow bodies, it's not a new strain, they are severely anemic! You can see a couple of pictures of an anemic snail beside a healthy one here and here. They will DIE if you cannot reverse their anemia. Sorry, I can't just do one or two snails as a stand alone order, but can add a few to something else. Remember, include a zip or you won't get a reply. The winner will receive a comprehensive care sheet which can be downloaded and printed if desired. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.
