Description

This auction is for a scoop of Malaysian Trumpet snails.  Various colors and sizes.  At least 25, probably more.

 

Information:

Malaysian Trumpet Snails are substrate dwellers.  They’re not seen often on your glass unless they’re in search of food not found in the substrate.  They are great assets to a planted aquarium, turning leftover food and bits into fertilizer for plants.  Their movement thorugh the substrate also keeps the substrate aerated for healthy root growth.  It is VERY rare for the MTS to be found eating live plants.  More information can be found here:  http://www.planetinverts.com/malaysian_trumpet_snail.html

Payment:

PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INVOICE.  I accept Paypal, Chase Quickpay, Money Order, and Cashier’s Check.  I work full time on a variety of shifts, so I will send an invoice from PayPal as soon as I can.  But please wait for the invoice regardless of your payment method.  This allows me to make sure I don’t miss anyone and helps me keep my books in order. 

Shipping:

I ship the next day the mail runs after I’ve received your payment.  I can usually do this within 24 hours and if there are delays I will let you know.

Priority shipping is recommended, and will cost $7.  Overnight shipping is available, and will cost $37. 

 

Tracking is included in all shipments.

 

DOA/Returns:

I do not accept returns.  If you have any DOA, Please provide pictures within 2 hours of receipt of package showing snails in unopened bag.  Email pictures to katvillefish@frontier.com referencing the auction number.  Then, place in a conspicuous location where current or other creatures will not jostle or move them, or place them in a hospital tank for 24 hours, and leave them a piece of algae wafer or fresh veggie piece nearby.  Sometimes the stress of the shipping causes them to freak out a little and they play dead, but if left alone they should come out.  If they still have not come out after 24 hours and you are certain they are dead (they smell…. BAD), please send another picture, and I will refund the cost of the snail.  Shipping is non-refundable.  Replacements can be made with the cost of additional shipping.  Though, I do usually put an extra in the bag just in case.
