Description

Up for sale are 5 little trapdoor snails, around pea size (more are available, ask!). These little guys will get pretty big, but they seem to grow slowly. These snails are livebearers, and in order to have babies there needs to be a pair.I have heard that their gestation period is nine months, but mine seem to have babies every three or four months. The babies are large and easy to remove, and best of all they only have around twelve babies every time, so your tank won't get too crowded. They don't appear to eat any of the plants in my tank, and devour all the scraps my fish leave behind. They also seem to enjoy algae wafers. The full grown snails are lazy, they filter feed and occasionally come up for a breath of air. Babies are more active and scoot around the tank :) Shipping... $8 in styro lined box LAG-I'll refund any DOA that exceeds the number of extras If a picture is sent within three hours of delivery. The refund will not include shipping and will be $.50 a snail. Hopefully there won't be any DOA though, because these are very hardy snails! Be prepared to receive extras! I can include a starter of riccia, Rotala/ludwigia, or giant duckweed, or a few MTS for no extra cost... just email me at the close of the auction about what you want!
