Description

This auction is for 25 large brown Malaysian trumpet snails. The snails in the picture are some of the ones you will actually be receiving! These snails make great algae eaters and will also clean up uneaten fish food at the bottom of the tank. They often spend their time burrowing in the substrate, making them great for aerating the substrate in planted tanks. Malaysian trumpet snails come out at night to snack on algae and detritus. If you turn on the tank lights at night you may be surprised at how many you see!

The snails I am selling are brown versions of the normal striped MTS you usually see at the fish store. You might also get a plain brown one with no stripes. The snails you are bidding on are about 1-2 cm in shell length, and many of them are just a hair less than 2 cm! These guys are healthy and active--at least one of them has already started having babies in my quarantine tank :)

You will be receiving 25 snails, plus a few extra in case of DOA. If ALL snails are DOA, please contact me within 24 hours and provide a photo so we can negotiate a replacement or refund.

The snails you will be receiving are about 1-2 cm in shell length.
