ahoy there, a little about the clam; to start I have had this little clam in a six gallon tank for about a year now,it only has a foam filter and i never clean the sand, when I went to clean the sand it was already COMPLETELY clean!! So I did some research, i have always known that shellfish are a natural water filter and without them our waters around the world fresh or salt would be very dirty, Fact: one adult clam cleans 40 liters of water per day, not only do they clean the water but they clean your substrate, they will eat uneaten food and sift your sand, they will absolutely not hurt your fish in any way! i added these natural wonders to all my sand bottom tanks and they are my cleanest and clearest tanks, not only do they help me keep all of my 58 tanks clean they are a wonder to watch them do their job, yes you can actually see them at work blowing swooshes of water and sand from the bottom, Why am i only doing this now? well it only just hit me today like a light bulb being turned on,BOOM! so here i am selling this natural filter and i have millions of them at my secret place where i collect my driftwood and grasses, they are about a dime size or less and are very ornamental when they do come up, sand substrate is the best and fine gravel, this auction will include 12 minimum clams but Ole captn Ralph always gives a little something extra just ask around, shipping will be 8 dollars, happy bidding, sincerely CR ( a picture will be up soon)
