PLEASE READ ENTIRE AUCTION & TERMS BEFORE BIDDING Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR). � ONE Gold Mystery Snail Clutch I am pretty sure this clutch was laid overnight August 2nd into August 3rd. It MUST ship no later than Monday 8/13 so it will reach you before it hatches. Do not bid unless you have an active PayPal account in good working order and can make an instant payment. The email address you receive from AquaBid is also my PayPal account, there is no need to wait for me. No e-checks, no Money Orders. Ask any questions BEFORE bidding. If it is not paid for by 8pm EDT Sunday night 8/12 it will be destroyed. Shown is the actual clutch you will receive, I don't like buying clutches sight unseen and I won't ask you to either. This should yield at least 100 babies, probably more. � � � Please have a responsible plan for housing the snails as they grow and an outlet for all the extras. You will end up with more than can be kept in a couple of small tanks! Or a dozen large tanks. If you only want a few snails, this is not for you. Mystery snails should have hard water and an alkaline pH, 7.5 to 8.0 is good. In soft acid water you will have irrepairable problems with the shells which can ultimately be fatal, at the least it's unattractive. I consider these snails to be plant-safe, they do not eat most live plants unless they are starving. They do need veggies in their diet. Collard or dandelion greens are great choices. Green beans and peas are good too. Plain lettuce doesn't really have any nutritional value (except Romaine). They will eat some soft algaes and dead plant foliage. And of course they like to clean up fish food which has fallen to the bottom. Suitable tankmates include most gentle community fish. Most loaches and cichlids are poor choices. Even if the snail is not killed outright, constantly having their antennas or bodies nipped at will make their lives miserable. In a suitable environment, mystery snails are active. A wealth of information on keeping and hatching Mystery Snails can be found at AppleSnail.net. If you have never hatched a Mystery Snail clutch before, please do your research before bidding. This clutch is being sold WITHOUT email support. If you would like a complete hatching kit with platform, food and instructions, add $5. If you have hatched apple snails before, you know what to do. If you haven't hatched them before I strongly suggest getting the hatching kit, otherwise you are on your own. � Term details are on my Just Me page. Please read it before bidding. �A copy of these terms is also included in this auction as commented out text and can be viewed by looking at the page source. �Please do not bid if you cannot pay AND accept delivery promptly. �The only reason I delay shipment is my weather. Payment is by PayPal only, no e-checks. Payment must be completed by 8pm EDT Sunday 8/12. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address. If you want shipping to an Unconfirmed address, email before bidding/buying to discuss this. Shipping is $6 in a styro insulated USPS Priority box. You have the option of the USPS's free service, Hold for Pickup. To destinations with highs over 90F, Hold for Pickup is required so don't bid unless you can get to the post office during business hours. I am offering no guarantee these will hatch because the clutch will need additional incubation after receipt. All previous clutches from this mother snail have been fertile.
