Pink Pearl Ramshorns

This auction is for the first of the summer crop of Pink Rams. These are mostly small pea sized now with a few larger. You can expect them to breed 99%+ true. Shown below are the snails up for sale... not a stock photo I use over and over, not someone else's picture, just the snails you are bidding on. First is the snails in their tank followed by ambient lighting and with the flash.

I think they are most beautiful at this size, before the shells has really mineralized. The bubble of air they trap in their shells sparkles and they look impossibly delicate.

Don't want to wait? Buy Direct! Choose Quantity

Some of these have started breeding. But if you have any nano tanks where one ram would be enough, and breeding is undesired, just ask and I will be sure to include some smaller ones who are too young to breed yet. A virgin snail is likely to live longer and get bigger than one which is devoting energy to breeding.

These are true albinos, the body color is from the snails' iron rich blood (hemoglobin, red, same as us). As these get older the shell will thicken and the color will lighten. The very biggest oldest snails will have a mostly ivory color shell with a hint of pink and a brighter foot.

The snails you will receive are young and very healthy.. Shell condition will be excellent to perfect. At this size they are easy to handle, easy to ship, acclimate easily and most of all aren't about to die of old age. You won't be getting big snails which are at the end of their reproductive lifespan. That's what those large ones are, OLD.

The winner will receive a comprehensive care sheet which can be downloaded and printed if desired. Briefly, no acidic water, no soft water, no big fish. They will eat soft algae if hungry but live plants only if starving. Temps up to 80F. These make good companions for guppies, nano fish and easy shrimp.

I have plenty of these so if you would like to add more you may, only 50 each.

Term details are on my Just Me page. Please read it before bidding. A copy of these terms is also included in this auction as commented out text and can be viewed by looking at the page source. Please do not bid if you cannot pay AND accept delivery promptly. The only reason I delay shipment is my weather.

Payment is by PayPal only, no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address. If you want shipping to an Unconfirmed address, email before bidding/buying to discuss this.

Shipping (one pound) is included in the price and will be Priority Mail in a #4 box (7"x7"x6") with a styro liner. You have the option of the USPS's free service, Hold for Pickup. To destinations with highs over 90F, Hold for Pickup is required so don't bid unless you can get to the post office during business hours.

LAG for 20 snails for 3 days if >35F and <85F.

Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
