Description

Help! My assassin snails are breeding like rabbits. They must be very happy critters. Instead of one per six months, there's new ones showing up every day! We have way too many!

This auction includes 5 assassin snails (plus one in case of a DOA), with an MTS snack for the ride and a bit of plant to hang onto. Auction price includes free priority mail shipping in a small flat rate box. Upgraded shipping available at buyers' additional expense. Feel free to email me for a quote, or local pick up is also available if you live near Tampa.

These guys are in a mixed freshwater community tank. It is heavily planted with sand substrate, as you can see in the picture. The guppy is shown for reference to give you an idea of the size of these snails. They are about 2 months old and 1/2 to 3/4 inch in length. This tank includes corys, guppies, and mollies.

The assassins have decimated the ramshorn and pond snail populations, and are now working their way through the MTS snails which had overtaken the tank. They are excellent at removing and controlling unwanted snails. They even burrow through the substrate, just like the MTS.
