Description

Here are 20 Blue Ramshorn snails for algae control, or as pets. Mine are both.
They are of good breeding size of ~1/4" up to ~1/2", maybe larger.
Some of them may have spots, but they color out to a solid slate blue fairly quickly.
(I will add extra for possible DOA)

These snails are my own genetic line developed from stock I had obtained some time ago. Breeding some generations, they began throwing blues and reds, and from my reds, I developed pinks. Wanting genetic strength, I added in additional color-specific lines from outside breeders, strengthening each color variety. I have been very pleased with the results, strong consistent colors and very good size when fully aged. My largest snails (1" diameter shells) roam my community aquarium keeping down algae growth, where they look FANTASTIC with their colors and their large size! I do not collect their offspring for sale, as they have mixed.

The snails you will receive are bred and raised in isolated tanks, ready to breed.
They have not mingled with the other colors, nor any fish or other aquatic species,
so should be perfectly safe for tank introduction in your home.
Their care is extremely easy, they clean algae and organic debris, and love algae
and earthworm pellets, sinking wafers, and lettuce and carrots. Clean water as with anything else.

• Shipping is $12, Priority Mail, insulated with an ice pack if necessary.
  Tracking Number/Delivery Confirmation is included. Express is available for $40, please email me first.
  I do not ship snails outside the United States or to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.


• Depending upon cleared payment, I will prep the snails and ship out on the next available
  Monday or Tuesday, weather being considered. I will keep in touch with you on their progress.


• Shipping is to PayPal confirmed addresses only.


• Please pay by PayPal only, within 48 hours, (no eChecks) payment made to: silhouettefarm@yahoo.com


• Someone MUST be at home to receive the snails directly from the mail carrier when they arrive
  because temperatures this time of year can easily become too extreme in packages left outside or in a mailbox.
  If DOA, please send a clear photo of the unopened bag and crushed snails, within first 2 hours of delivery.
  Refund only the purchase price within first 24 hours.
  I'm sorry, no shipping refund. If reship, buyer pays shipping.
