You are bidding on 10+ MTS, Melanoides tuberculata, grown in my own tank, 1.5+ cm long. S/H is $6, and I always use a foam lined box to avoid temp swings. These little guys are like underwater earthworms, digging in the substrate, eating dead plant matter, never bothering live plants or their roots, and generally keeping the substrate aerated and neat. Their odd habits and appearance are a source of interest for non-hobbyists. I see other ads for a legion of snails, but I say don't bother. They breed so easily that a few go a long way, and these are all of breeding age. Also, if any babies are floating around, I may toss some of them in too.
