GET A JUMP START ON YOUR ALGAE THIS SEASON!!! Amazing Trapdoor Pond and Aquarium snails naturally filter feed and clear up your water. If you have any algae problems or stained water, this is definitely what you need! They feed on uneaten leftover food and algae on the bottom and will clear up your pond or aquarium in a matter of weeks (providing the right number of snails for pond size). These do very well outside in ponds and can withstand very cold winter temperatures which separates these from any other freshwater snails. They will hibernate when the water gets below 50 degrees. They will also not eat your plants or overtake your pond like egg laying snails. Very hardy live bearing snails!!!
