Description

20 Spike Tail Malaysian Trumpet Snails (Melanoides granifera). These snails are closely related to the common trumpet snail except their shells are different with tiny little bumps and they get a little bigger. These snails seem to reproduce at a slightly slower rate than normal trumpet snails but they are still very prolific. These snails make great food for assassin snails and do an awesome job keeping your substrate mixed and eating excess food in your tank. They do not eat plants and will encourage root growth with their constant burrowing. Shipping is $8.00 for USPS Priority with a tracking number and 72 hour heat pack. I only ship to the US. I will ship on the Monday or Tuesday after your payment clears. In the unlikely case that the snails are dead on arrival, I will reship for the cost of shipping upon receipt of a picture showing the snails crushed (sorry but that's the only way I will know they are dead).
