This species was imported as mini golden/yellow snails, but its body coloration is varying such as: golden, yellow, light yellow and white. In fact, this snails is very cool and its rapid color changing abilities, as a means of camouflage. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.

Base on a recently research, the scientists have found that any tylomelania that has only solid-color pigment is from Lake Poso. Therefore, this great Tylomelania Carbo "Golden" (A.K.A mini golden) is also from Lake Poso.
Lake Poso is located 80km NorthWest of the Malili Lake systems. It is a deep lake ( 450m , 323.2km2). Also, It is a home of the most beautiful Tylomelania species of Sulawesi island.
