Description

I've been breeding top quality Ramshorns for over 8 years. About 5 years ago, I began breeding bladder snails and rare forms of CatEar snails (Wandering Pond snails). All specimens have been isolated for 30 days to ensure they don't carry any parasites or flukes. 100% safe for all freshwater aquariums, and even slightly saline environments. Through selective breeding, I've developed many shades of color. Shell colors and patterns can range from very light tan and amber speckled to dark brown, or almost black with smudgy dappled spots. They are some of the fastest snails around- they wizz around the tank eating unwanted debris, and even have the ability to float or sink through the water, and climb upside down on the surface of the water to reach floating dead fish and eat them fast so that the tank water doesn't become host to dangerous diseases. Great tank mates with fish because they keep tanks clean and can provide food for some species of fish. Great tank mates for Ramshorns because while the Ramshorns slowly clean the bottom and sides of the tank, the bladder snails mostly clean the sides and the top. They'll even crawl over the shells of Ramshorn snails or other species of slower moving aquatic snail and clean their shells! All fed high-calcium diets and have strong shells. No snails with cracked shells are sold. Bladder snails are sold at newborn/juvenile size to allow them time to grow into their new home, but they grow very fast so they will reach their adult size soon. The newborn are very small and make great food for many species of fish, even fry. Easy to rid of if populations grow too large. They don't eat live aquarium plants or fresh fish food, but are helpful as they eat rotten or dying plants and soggy, uneaten fish food. Can clean algae infested tanks in days- one of the only organic and safe remedies for hydra infestations. And finally, they're cute as the dickens! :-) Shipping will be $6.00. Well I spent a lot of time looking, and I am officially the only person selling this species of aquatic snail on Aquabid, and 5 other aquatic auction sites/forums that I checked. Yayer ;-)
