Hello folks! These are VERY cool snails! They ship GREAT and are very interesting snails. If you want some, and you want to buy them from a guy who will get them to you alive, and in great shape PLUS toss some other NICE crap in to the box I would highly suggest you win this Box-O-Snails! LOL! This auction is for 9 Assassin snail, Anentome helena. Forget about everything you have read about these snails. The truth is they will eat all your other snails. They don't eat them super quickly but none the less they will kill and eat any other species of snail you have in your tank. Eventually you will have nothing left in your tank but Assassin snails. Personally, I like snails of all kinds. I think they are all good for aquariums and I think everyone should have them in their tanks. But I don't like planaria. Those are those flatworms with the arrow shaped heads that always seem to end up in shrimp tanks. I don't like those because they tend to reproduce quickly and they start competing with my shrimp for food. So my idea is to see if these Assassin snails will eat the planaria in my shrimp tanks. The jury's still out on that but I will let you know if they do in a Month or two. Also, there is a lot of bogus information going around stating that these Assassin snails need to have a steady diet of other snails to survive. That's a bunch of crap because if I drop a few Earthworm sticks in the tank with these snails they all start eating those sticks immediately. In fact, these are some of the fastest moving snails I have ever kept. So, there you have it. If you have snails in a planted tank, or in your shrimp tanks and you want to get rid of them these will work out great for you. And if you decide you don't want these snails after they have killed all your other snails just send me an E mail later and I will sell you some Botias that will make mince meat out of these Assassin snails.
