This auction is for 6 one month old, unsexed, fry, these fish normally go for over $30 each, however I am selling them for $5 each because they are small. I have found that they handle shipping better around a month or two old. I am breeding them over the summer, and selling the fry. this is a great chance to get very expensive fish for really low prices.These fish will do well in a 5 to 10 gallon tank for a few more months, they are eating golden pearls, veg powder foods, micro worms and baby brine shrimp. They are getting fed three times a day. Melanotaenia picta, also known as the painted rainbowfish or the "Goldiei Aru II," is a species found in two locations in the Mareremar River system of the Kobroor Island, part of the Aru Archipelago, off the East Coast of New Guinea. My breeders are currently outdoors in a pond breeding so I can't get pictures as of now. the photos are of the exact fish I am selling in this auction.
