Description

Group of 5 juvenile unsexed Boesemani Rainbow Fish. These are not imported, they have been bred and raised in my home fish room here in Central Texas. They have been raised on a diet consisting of live baby brine shrimp (once daily), and a mix of Xtreme and Hikari nano pellets and flakes. The photo is my actual tank that I am raising them in. The males will have a beautiful blue and orange color once mature. The females are less vibrant, but also have a beautiful color. As stated, the ones that you will receive are still juvenile and have not yet developed their color. I would recommend a tank size of at least 40 gallons for these guys. If you would like more than the group of 5, let me know and we will work something out. Shipping I ship only on Monday and Tuesday via USPS Priority Mail. I may ship on a Wednesday on a case-by-case basis based on your location. I do this to prevent a worst case scenario of a shipment running late and being stuck over the weekend. I want you to have the best chance of receiving healthy, vibrant fish. I use 1/2" Styrofoam box liners, polyfill, a heat pack, and breather bags. I fast the fish two days prior to shipping and include a small piece of poly filter in the bag to absorb any ammonia that may happen to build up. I also use methylene blue to help reduce stress during transit. A note on the breather bags- please do not float them in your aquarium to acclimate your fish. This interferes with the bags ability to properly conduct oxygen exchange and could suffocate your fish. Payments and Shipping I accept payments via PayPal. I charge a flat rate of $20 for shipping. DOA Policy In the unfortunate event that any of your fish arrive DOA (dead on arrival) I will be more than happy to refund you, minus shipping costs, provided you send me a picture of the dead fish in the bag within two hours of delivery time.
