Description

This auction includes 6 mixed-sex Melanotaenia Affinis Blue Hole rainbowfish. We will do our best to give you a mix of sexes. The breeders were obtained from Lori Syrjala who got them from Gary Lange. Gary originally collected the M. Affnis Blue Holes in 2005 from a small stream about 70 km west of Sentani in Papua. They range in size from 1 � to 1 � with some being larger. These and all rainbowfish will show you their best colors in a well-planted tank with a dark substrate. As with any rainbows, a tight-fitting lid is a must! These fish are very rare and not seen in the hobby.

We are Jimmy and Anne Walker and we are Escape Aquatics in Brandon, Florida. We are keepers and breeders of purebred rainbowfish. We do not have a fish room, we have a fish house! All of our fish are tank-raised by us in our home. They are breed by us using high-quality flake, frozen and live foods.

All of our initial stock of rainbowfish came from Gary Lange and Lori Syrjala. Rainbowfish is our passion and focus. We have taken great care to ensure we hold the highest standards for breeding to ensure pure lines of healthy tank raised rainbows.

With all the care and love we have given these fish, proper shipping is an absolute priority. We ship our fish in insulated boxes, double bagged with oxygen with hot and cold packs as needed to ensure safe and healthy arrival. We only ship Express through USPS. If you are placing a bid you can email me at Jimmy@escapeaquatics.com for an estimate on shipping cost. We only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays (excluding holidays and extreme weather conditions) to give us time to prepare the fish for shipping and ensure safe delivery. You can also email us if you have any other questions about the fish. We guarantee live delivery based on the following:
1.) Someone is there to accept the fish for the first delivery attempt. 2.) This guarantee is for you to receive healthy, live fish within the shipping time frame. 3.) If DOA occurs we require photographic proof of DOA within one hour of arrival time in the original unopened bag.

In the rare occurrence of a DOA, we will either replace the fish at no charge or provide a refund for the loss but shipping cost is non-refundable under any circumstances. Upon completion of the auction, please send us an email at Jimmy@escapeaquatics.com so we can begin the preparation of your fish. Payment is accepted via Paypal as soon as possible so we can get the fish out on the following Monday or Tuesday. Enjoy the bidding!
