Description

You are bidding on 2 pair,F-2, .1.5-~2� inches in length. If I had to give them a nickname it might be �Red Dragons�! It takes almost a year for their dorsal and anal fins to start feathering but that is what the adults look like, very impressive! These are the true G. multisquamata, with the cool long ragged anal fins, caught near the tiny village of Pagai in the Mamberamo river system and from a small stream off of the Taritatu River. Well, at the time the little stream was more of a mudhole. When the mud gets up to your knees when you are seining you wonder how much deeper does it go? Their village was having a drought at the time so we only had a horrible algae tasting water to survive on. At times like that you wonder should I drink this stuff or die of dehydration? These multis get to about 4 + inches in length and only getting nicer looking as they age. At this size they are just showing interest in breeding but it will probably be another six months before you get large quantities of eggs. Feed them well and perform quality water changes and you should have no problem raising and breeding these rainbows.

When the auction ends on Sunday evening I want to have an email from you as soon as possible so I can get your fish ready. I need a PayPay sent so I can ship out either Monday or Tuesday. Due to the slower response at the PO I only ship Express for these fish on Monday or Tuesday. Express mail is $57
