You are bidding on 4 juvenile Melanotaenia splendida inornata from Mary River that were tank raised by me and are at the age of 4-6 months, and about 1.5 -2� in length. If you are looking for a big rainbow fish, this is the species for you. My breeder males are about 1 year old and are pushing 4-5 inches already. I received my breeders from Dave Wilson (Aquagreen) in Australia. https://www.aquagreen.com.au/plant_data/Melanotaenia_splendida_inornata_Mary_River.html The Mary River is located near the Pine Creek entrance to Kakadu National Park in Australia. Dave describes that this chequered rainbow fish is one of the most vegetarian of all the rainbow fishes; its diet should contain 30-50% vegetable matter. No wonder that mine are eating lots of duckweed. The picture shows a male from my breeding group. More fish are available for the winning bidder. PAY-PAL Payment ONLY. Payment must be sent within 24 hours of Auction end. USPS Shipping to CONTINENTAL US STATES ONLY. I will ONLY ship on Monday/Tuesday, i.e. if the auction ends on Friday, I expect payment by Saturday evening. I do not fast stock until payment is made.
