Description

You are bidding on 8 unsexed young, tank raised Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi, also known as the 'Yellow Rainbowfish'. They are sized at 1.25"-1.5" TL When looking at my photo below of an adult male breeder, you may say WOW, look at those colors! That's because this high quality bloodline came to me via Gary Lange who has maintained this pure bloodline that he received directly from Gerald Allen himself back in 1993! Almost every other one of these you see in the hobby today can be traced back to being pond raised without any consideration to selective breeding. That's why their color & markings have degraded to some degree. Winner of the auction will have the option to purchase additional fish at the winning bid price per fish, BUT numbers on hand are very limited. No special care is needed to keep these guys.

Remember these are tank raised fish, being naturally spawned and raised in aquariums in our own hatchery, NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! In addition, these are NOT pond raised or farm raised using artificial methods either, as some others sellers call �tank raised�!! - - - We like to say our fish are ... Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for $50, Serious bidders, BEFORE YOU BID, Email me (at coryjeb@comcast.net ) your shipping zip code for delivery time as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Bad weather may delay shipping of fish

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt. (Please make sure fish are unpacked & tended to upon arrival, as any DOA must be report to me within an hour of package acceptance. Photos of DOA in original, unopened bag required.). If using the �hold for pick up� option or a PO Box, packages must be picked up within 2 hours once available at your post office.

Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME! This means I guarantee you get live, healthy fish, if they arrive an hour late or day late, but alive and in good condition, you do not get any money back for the late delivery.

I do not use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!
