Description

You are bidding on a group of 8 young, unsexed, tank raised, Melanotaenia picta sized at 1.25" in total length. This nice bloodline is from the fish I received from Johannes Graf while I was visiting Germany in May of 2008. My photo (and not a good one!) shows one of my adult male breeders. This fish was originally seen in the hobby as Mel. sp. "Aru Island" or "Aru II", until being described in 2015. Winner of the auction will have the option to purchase additional fish at the winning bid price per fish, BUT numbers on hand are very limited. No special care is needed to keep these guys. If interested in an article my wife wrote on keeping and spawning these fish, just email me at coryjeb@comcast.net and ask for a copy and I'll email it to you.

Remember these are tank raised fish, being naturally spawned and raised in aquariums in our own hatchery, NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! In addition, these are NOT pond raised or farm raised using artificial methods either, as some others sellers call �tank raised�!! - - - We like to say our fish are ... Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for $50, Serious bidders, BEFORE YOU BID, Email me (at coryjeb@comcast.net ) your shipping zip code for delivery time as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Bad weather may delay shipping of fish

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt. (Please make sure fish are unpacked & tended to upon arrival, as any DOA must be report to me within an hour of package acceptance. Photos of DOA in original, unopened bag required.). If using the �hold for pick up� option or a PO Box, packages must be picked up within 2 hours once available at your post office.

Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME! This means I guarantee you get live, healthy fish, if they arrive an hour late or day late, but alive and in good condition, you do not get any money back for the late delivery.

I do not use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!
