A tiny but very attractive species, this little gem is a great addition to any community aquarium. Showy with two upturned, almost wing-like pectoral fins, bright yellow in color along with bright yellow dorsal fins in breeding season, P. furcatus grows to only 2". They will thrive in a peaceful and planted community aquarium with well-oxygenated water, and prefer to live in shoals of at least six fish.
